Tuesday morning, I put my 'baby' on a plane to go visit his grandparents without me. Now, you may remember that I have had no problem putting the older two on a plane and sending them off into the wild blue yonder. But, this is my baby. It was a wee bit harder. Although, not as hard as you might think. I spend enough time with them that a break is a wonderful thing, at least for the first few days!
Since they're not here, I thought I'd share a few things they've said recently. Today, we'll talk about Dominic. He's recently started to think logically. Instead of just inputting large amounts of information into his brain, he's started making connections and spitting them back out. It has been very interesting listening to the way he thinks.
When his water bottle needed filling: "It's not empty, it's full of air." (See? He's the ultimate optimist. It's not half full, it's full--half with water and half with air.)
When told he had to have a hamburger (versus chicken) and asked what he wanted on it: "What can I have on it?" Me: "Whatever you want. What do you want on it?" Him: "Chicken. Hee, hee, hee, hee!"
There were a few others, but I can't remember what they were right now. If I remember, I'll let you know. Have a good night!
