About 4 years ago, I decided I was ready to have another baby. Of course, that was about a year too late, but that didn't stop me from thinking of baby names. I decided that if I had been privileged enough to have another boy that I would like to name him Roland Armand. Then, I thought, I would like to name two girls Freedom and Liberty. Of course, I had no intention of actually calling that son Roland. I really wanted to name him Armand Roland, but didn't like the way that sounded. So, I would just call him by his middle name. (Don't you like the way I'm talking about this baby as though he actually exists?)
As with Dominic, whom we call Nicky, Armand's name would be shortened to Army. Then, we could teach Army to protect and defend Freedom and Liberty.
Yesterday, I shared this thought with the boys. They all thought it was a great idea. Then, Gabriel says, "Yes, and then we can teach the girls 'Lady' things... Like sewing, cooking, and pouring tea, and drinking tea with their pinky finger out."
Where does he come up with these things?
