This is a gift for someone who reads my blog, so I won't be mentioning any names. It is a shawl from Ponchos & Wraps: A Knitter's Dozen (A Knitter's Dozen series). Specifically, it is the Anthracite Shawl. Mine looks very different from theirs, and I would like to try it with a yarn that has a longer repeat. However, I do think that the repeat on this yarn has created some very interesting designs. Overall, I am happy with it. I just have to add a few rows on the left side to finish the border. My goal is to have it done by tomorrow night, since I'll be attending the Southern Indiana Fiber Arts Festival on Friday and will be coming home with a lot of new yarn. I know I will want to cast on with that new yarn immediately.
